I attended a mushroom class at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens in Fort Bragg, California, on Saturday. There was a volunteer group there with animals from the Mendocino Coast Humane Society, a no-kill shelter. The pictures show Pedro in the warm chair he quickly claimed when his person stood up for me to get a photo. Leo and Dixie are in the other photo. All were VERY sweet dogs. Thank you to all the people who work to find homes for shelter animals!!
