I live in northern California and am available to do presentations for no fee for nearby locations. I can
often make arrangements for free or low-cost speaking engagements for places requiring more travel
time. My first book, Murder at Redwood Cove, was published October 13, 2015. This was followed
by Murder at the Mansion, Murder at the Fortuneteller’s Table, Murder at the Mushroom Festival, Murder
at the Marina, and Murder in the Wine Country. It’s a mystery series much like the television
program Murder, She Wrote. There is no graphic violence, and the main characters return in each book.  I
made the USA TODAY Best-seller’s List, and my publisher is Kensington Publishing Corporation.

Redwood Cove is based on Mendocino, California. My amateur sleuth is assisted in her investigations by
a crime-solving group of senior citizens, the Silver Sentinels, who use their ingenuity and skills to help
their community. The series features dogs with special abilities and has food festivals woven into each
story. Please visit my website listed below to learn more. You can read reviews on Amazon as well as
other sites to see what people have thought of my books.

I’m available to talk about a variety of topics that I’ve listed at the bottom of this communication. I’m open
to any other thoughts you might have for a presentation. I meet regularly with a group of published
authors so my perspective is broader than just my own.

I taught for many years and was a professional speaker for educational workshops. I’m comfortable
speaking to groups of all sizes. I’d like to be able to make my books available for purchase after the talk.

Please let me know if you might be interested in having me do a presentation. If you have suggestions for
other people I might contact or places where a talk might fit in, I’d love to hear them. My e-mail address is
jfinsilver@sbcglobal.net.

Thank you for your time.
Best wishes,
Janet Finsilver
